El XII Congreso Internacional en Electrónica, Control y Telecomunicaciones (CIECT) de entrada libre, pero con inscripción previa en la página web comunidad.udistrital.edu.co/ciect/ se realizará en la Biblioteca Virgilio Barco, ubicada en la carrera 60 # 57 – 60.
De acuerdo con la ingeniera electrónica Lely Adriana Luengas, profesora del Proyecto Curricular de Tecnología en Electrónica, quien junto a los docentes Miguel Pérez y Dora Lilia Castañeda, tienen a cargo la organización del congreso, este evento tiene como objetivo fundamental “vincular a los investigadores y expertos internacionales en las áreas de control, electrónica y comunicaciones, con los estudiantes, docentes e investigadores de la Universidad Distrital y otras universidades, así como con la comunidad industrial y de empresarios, para de esta manera conocer los temas vigentes en estas áreas y establecer relaciones que permitan proyectar a la Universidad, proponer temas de investigación, nuevas formas de comunicación y trabajar conjuntamente en el desarrollo de nuevas tecnologías”, agregó la docente.
Así mismo, la profesora Luengas manifestó al Sistema Integrado de Comunicaciones que el congreso busca “mostrar a los estudiantes que la electrónica, control y telecomunicaciones son temas con sub áreas bastante amplias, con muchas posibilidades de investigación y desarrollo y la participación de expertos internacionales permite que los alumnos conozcan, de primera mano, las nuevas tendencias y paradigmas de la tecnología y se adentren en el futuro de la tecnología.”
La docente acotó que respecto a esta materia en la Universidad Distrital se están trabajando temas de punta, pero el congreso “nos va a permitir conocer y compararnos con avances y desarrollos de otras instituciones, tanto nacionales como internacionales, para tener un punto de referencia.”
El XII Congreso Internacional de Electrónica, Control y Telecomunicaciones, tendrá invitados internacionales de universidades y empresas de desarrollo tecnológico de Estados Unidos, Argentina, Cuba, Ecuador y México, que, junto a investigadores de dos compañías de nuestro país, Importec y Didacol, dictaran ocho conferencias magistrales durante los dos días del evento.
Así mismo, docentes e investigadores de las universidades de Antioquia, Tecnológica de Pereira, CorpoHuila, Nacional de Colombia, Universidad de los Llanos, Universidad Militar, Universidad Piloto, Universidad del bosque, Universidad Distrital, entre otras instituciones del país, presentarán ponencias, de las cuales 18 serán orales y 15 poster.
